Narita International Airport

Nowadays, Japan has many international airports but I am going to tell you about the one of the main international airport in the Japan, Narita International Airport or in the old name also know as New Tokyo International Airport. It locates on Narita town not Tokyo town but you can take 1 hour from the airport to Tokyo by train. Narita International Airport is the major connecting point between Asia and the America. It is the second busiest passenger airport in Japan. In the year 1960, Tokyo international Airport or Haneda Airport, the first busiest passenger airport in Japan, had an overcrowd of people, and this reason made Japanese government planned to built the new airport. Japanese government started invest in this strategy in 1962. And finally, Narita International Airport finished in the year 1978. In 2010, Narita International Airport will be enhanced; for example, the Narita fast railway will open in the summer of 2010 for connect the center of the Tokyo to Narita International Airport.

Transport in Japan by trains

As everbody knows, the popular way of transport or travel in Japan is by trains. There are many train stations around Japan. I think transport by trains is a good way. It helps you to save the time for travel from one place to another place because transport by trains is faster than using a car ,and it is more comfortable.


In the past, Most Japanese people traveled by foot until in the 19 century. In the year 1872, Japan built the first railway between Tokyo and Yokohama and many more developed. Now, Japan is the country that has one of the the world most developed transportation networks. Japanese trains are very famous. It has more than 2 million passengers that travel by trains each on an average day in five stations.

In this paragraph, I am going to tell you about the high speed trains in Japan. It's name is Shinkansen also know as the bullet trains. Shinkansen doesn't like the normal trains. It has a high standard of safty and more comfort. And it is faster than the normal trains because Shinkansen was used the advance high technologies. In 1964, Shinkansen can running with the 210 km/hr. Now, Shinkansen can running with the 300 km/hr. Shinkansen is the busiest high speed rail line the the world and it transported more passengers than another high speed line in the world.

Kendo

Kendo is the art and the sport in Japan. Kendo means 'the way of sword'. Kendo emphasizes both of the moral and spirit trainning. Even if kendo doesn't participate in the Olympic games, it is the one art of sword fighting that base on the traditional Japanese swordsmanship. Kendo began since the earliest samurai government in Japan . In this period, kendo was developed under the strong power of Zen buddhism. Latterly, some of swordsmen established the school of Kenjutsu that taught from the basic of kendo practice. Kendo became the popular sport in Japan after the World War II. In 1952, The All Japan Kendo Federation was established. The world Kendo Championship was arranged every three years. In this paragraph, I am going to tell you about the equipment that using to play in kendo. If you need to play kendo, you need to have shinai. It is a represent Japanese sword that make from four bamboo slats and four bamboo slats are held together by leather fittings. Nowadays, shinal was developed. It made by carbon fiber.

Baseball

Baseball is the traditional sport in Japan. In 1872, baseball was introduced in the first time in Japan by Horace Wilson who taught at the kaisei in Tokyo. The first team baseball in Japan is Shimbashi Athletic Club. It was created by Hiroshi Hiraoka, who studied engineering in the United States, and his co-worker friends. Hiroshi was a person that introduced the baseball game to his co-workers in 1878 at the Japan'a national railways. The first university that started playing that the sport took hold in Japanese culture was Tokyo university. In 1896, the team from tokyo university defeated to an American team that came from the Yokohama country and Athletic club 29 to 4. It was the first game of baseball in Asia. Baseball started spread throughout quickly in Japan after that competition. There are two leagues in Japan, the Central and Pacific leagues. The professional association is called Nippon Professional baseball in Japan. The professional baseball game in Japan began in the April, and it took 8 months for one season of the baseball competition. Big-eeg is the biggest stadium of baseball in Japan. It can enter more 56,000 people in the stadium.
