Burj Khalifa

I read the news in website Google. It's about the highest building in our world. In the past, Taipei 101 was the highest building in our world. But now, it has the new building that is higher than the Taipei 101. The new highest building is Burji Khalifa or the old name is Burj Dubai. It is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This buiding was designed by Adrian Smith, the architect of this project and Bill Baker was the chief structural engineer for the project. The name Burj Khalifa comes from name of president of United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Burj Khalifa has height 828 m. or 2717 ft. It has 160 habitable floors plus 46 maintenance levels in the spire and 2 parking levels in the basement. Burj Khalifa was builed on 21 September 2004 and the exterior of the building structure completed on 1 October 2009. Now, Burj Khalifa or Burj Dubai is the highest building in the world.
