Zakumi

In 2010, the FIFA world cup was managed in the South Africa. I am going to tell you about the new mascot for the 2010 FIFA world cup. His name is Zakumi. Zakumi is the mascot for 2010 FIFA world cup. He is a cheerful and sporty leopard. The word "Za" comes from the code of the South Africa and the word "Kumi" means ten in the several African languges. If adding the word "Za" and "Kumi" together, it means welcome in the several African languges. Zakumi was designed by Andries Odendaal, the designer from Cape town in South Africa. Zakumi has the green hair and yellow skin. He wears the T-shirt that types the word "South Africa 2010" and green short trouser. Zakumi has two colours green and yellow because the green and yellow colours of the character match to the South Africa sport uniforms and can also be seen in the South Africa national football team's kit. Zakumi was presented the first time on 22 September 2008. The official slogan of Zakumi is "Zakumi's game is Fair Play".
